Tim & Lynne had the hotel pick a place for us to eat dinner tonight. We took a cab across town and ate at an AUTHENTIC Chinese restaurant. We drove through very ethnic and culturally enlightening area on the way. We even took what looked like an alley/slum area as a shortcut. BUT we ended up in a nice place - AWESOMELY authentic. We are not really sure what we ordered...no one spoke English. Fried rice, fried noodles, some fried pork ribs, fried pumkin, some kind of chicken dish (we think), and a beef dish. I was queasy still and didn't eat much but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Macy insisted that it was an emergency that she go to the bathroom, but when we got there all they had were the squatty potties. She refused and said, "No, this is not my favorite." :) Somehow she held it until we returned to the hotel.
